2009 Fuel Economy Guide
The U.S. Department of Enery (DOE) and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) publication 2009 Fuel Economy Guide is now available for viewing at the library.
In addition to the 2009 Fuel Economy Guide, the DOE and EPA have developed the fuel economy website, www.fueleconomy.gov. The website contains an electronic version of the Fuel Economy Guide and features updated fiel economy data for new and used passenger vehicles dating back to 1985, allows side-by-side vehicle comparisons, and offers fuel-saving tips. The website also contains vehicle-specific air pollution emissions information and safety ratings and provides links to car buying websites.
The printed 2009 Fuel Economy Guide is available to viewing at both the Main and West Branch locations.
